Hello-

I am in the process of getting my office to switch to Macs for the designers.

Currently we have a backup catalog of 150 CD's and 26 DVD's that are all full of our backed up jobs that have been completed over the last 8 years or so.

There's an excel file in which my Boss enters what is on each disc and it's got macros on the top of the spreadsheet to sort the spreadsheet by certain categories so we can find things easier (this is a windows world remember)

I am guessing there's a much better way to do this on a Mac. I had briefly read about Delicious Library, but I'm not sure that's what we want because it seems like it's a little more for digital media then keeping track of what's on a certain disk someplace and then being able to find it.

Does anyone have suggestions on a program that we'd be able to input what is on each disk into the program, and then that program would let us search our list when we need to find an old project to refer back to and then would tell us which disk it's on.

Thanks!
