I jailbroke an iphone last week which had a data connection .. I must not have done a part right because it wiped the info, including the cellular data network info ... so I called up the telecom to try and get it, and they gave me the APN but no username and password ... it worked fine so no issue there..

so I jailbroke another phone today (who doesn't pay for data) and thought I would try to put the APN in there seeing as it doesn't take authentication (at least from the phone side) and lo and behold it has data now as well ..

So I'm wondering if the phone company is going to know that the account is accessing data and if they are going to get a bill at the end of the month for all the accessing they are doing or if just accessing the APN is more of a ambigious thing as far as accounts go... does anyone know?
