Data Doubler and RAID Setup?

I admit to not knowing much about RAID setups. So, with that out of the way, if I replace my current HDD with a 1TB HDD and move my current HDD to the optibay, can I set them up as a RAID to not have to worry about which files go to which hard drive?

Alternately, I would replace the superdrive with an SSD as the boot drive and to house everything except the "User" folders.
