Data loading 3GS vs iP4, for thoes who can test, what are your results?

I had a 3GS and gave it to my brother, he has been using it and loving it. He upgraded from a 3G and is waiting for the White iP4. In my testing the 3GS was ALWAYS faster in download speed, the iP4 sometimes had absurdly high upload speed and ridiculously low download speed. In 2 tests/10 the iP4 never even sent or received data.

I was prompted to do these tests because all day yesterday, data would not even load, and when it did, i had Edge on and 3G off. I have a bumper so its not like i'm "holding it the wrong way"

For those who can test, are these results consistent, or do i have a bad iP4?

This has actually become a pretty widespread issue that has also effected me. Data wont even load with 5 bars on 3G, But I am currently using on a 3Gs.

I'm trying to figure out if its an iP4 issue, an AT&T issues, a my particular iP4 issue, or something else?
