iPod touch Data loss on Ipod Touch

Hey,

Recently I made the poor choice of updating my firmware to 3.1.3 while my touch was jailbroken. I made the even poorer descision thinking I could roll it back to 3.1.2 by restoring the factory settings and deleting all of my content. Is there still a chance I can recover it?

if when plugged into itunes it shows an almost empty capacity then no, all is lost
