I bought new hdd, after copying some files into the new hdd from my old hdd realized the time machine backup can't be copied so i used one of the clone apps so the clone started without warning me that the destenation data will be erased, i though it will be like disk utility clone.

now all my files on that hdd lost, how od i recover them ???

tried filesalvage but it's recovering the files by extension, is there a way to recover the files with the same folder structure and names ???

help me please, you know how hard is this :(

No way to recover in the same structure unless the directory is intact. Haven't used File Salvage myself, I've found Data Rescue 2 to do a good job.

You could try testdisk. It's free, and it lets you browse a disk as you normally would to look for deleted files. Included in the download is photorec, which allows you to copy every file from the drive that it can find onto another, deleted or not. These two apps don't have a full GUI, however.

Just make sure you don't copy over a drive with your stuff still on it.
