Data plan question

Hey everyone,
A question about the AT&T data plan: I'ts simply, does using google maps and the built in GPS on the iPhone 4 considered using "data"? If so, how much? What about apps like Skype?

GPS- yes, amount is not significant, though.
Skype- If you're on 3G then yes.

Great- thanks for the quick response. Basically I think I'm going to start with the 200mb plan, and see how much I use a month. Then depending on that, I may or may not upgrade to 2gb.
