Need some help or suggestions for data recovery.
I have an external USB drive that I have the Disk Utility error: "BS_jmpboot in boot block: 000000."
Running High Sierra 10.13.4 if that helps. Have not done anything but try "First Aid". saw a lot of programs when I did a search but with my Limited knowledge didn't want to do anything until I understood what to do.
I was erasing a Thumb drive and didn't see that I had elected the external drive before clicking on erase. pulled the connection within 2 -4 sec.

Thanks

You might try ProSoft's "Data Rescue" first. It's one of the best data recovery apps.
