Good Morning,

I will be traveling to Sweden and have an Apple Watch with cellular data on T-mobile.

I am a bit confused on cellular setting options on the watch. My concern is this:
While traveling abroad I don't want to limit watch capabilities in terms of data/texting however I don't want to have any roaming charges. My T-mobile plan (magenta max) support sms/data in Sweden, however when I am abroad do I keep "data roaming" on or off? On the Apple Watch - there are several options under cellular setting: 1. Cellular - plan to leave it on, 2. Cellular data - plan to leave it on, 3. Data roaming - this is the confusing one, do I leave it on or off?

Called T-Mobile, got conflicting answers from 2 reps, just trying to understand which one I need to set the toggle to.

Thank you in advance!

If you don’t want roaming charges then turn data roaming off.
