im just curious but in iStat and other monitoring programs for that matter there is an options for how often it checks data to update the display. another words you tell it to check CPU usage every 1 seconds, HD every .3 seconds, ram every 10 seconds, you get my point. if you were to change the data sample rate (more often checking) how much does that affect overall system usage/resources and is there anything to be gained.
