Good evening,

I've got a MacBook Pro 13" i7 that I run boot camp on with Windows 7.

Can anyone please advise how I can upgrade the hard drive, I have a 1TB drive ready to go in but not quite sure on the process to do this.

Best Regards

NWR

We'd need more information on the MacBook Pro. What year is it?

iFixit has plenty of guides if your model has an upgradeable HDD.

Hi T5BRICK,

My MacBook is MacBook Pro (13-inch Late 2011).

Thank you for your reply.

You need a 00 Phillips screwdriver, and a torx T5 screw driver and all of 3 minutes for the swap.

Then comes the longer part, installing an OS on it.

Do you have a recent backup of your computer? If you don't, give yourself a sharp whap to the back of the head, then go make one.
