Data Tracking?

SO iv looked about everywhere, with every phrase i could think of...

Is there a way to easily track your monthly data usage? i know iv seen some people with it at the top status bar, but i cant seem to find it or what its called.

Suggestions?

Settings > General > Usage ? or doesn't your cell phone service provider, provide with data consumed?

If you're on AT&T, you can look it up online on your account, or download the free AT&T app, then go to "Usage". Usually updates every 24 hours.

Yah i know both those ways, im talking aside from that, their has to be something that shoes it on the status bar or something, one where i dont have to dig my settings or through an app to find it

... that's the amount of free memory, not data usage

Alright so since no one has any ideas, im going to assume it dosnt exist? thanks for the clarification though, that was bugging me trying to figure out what it was!
