I have an old iMac (G3) with no firewire port. I am waiting on my new iMac G5 (20", 1gig RAM, 250gig HD, AE, bluetooth - I'm quite excited). How do I go about transfering data (iTunes, iPhoto, word documents) to my new iMac. I see there's a program for that if I had firewire on the old one but I don't, so....any helpful suggestions? Thanks.

I would connect both of the machines with an Ethernet cable, then go into System Preferences on one of the machines. Click Sharing and enable/check Personal File Sharing. Watch the message at the bottom of the window as it will give your IP. Now on the other machine, in Finder, click Go, then Connect to Server. Type afp://<enter IP of other machine> and hit Enter. Enter the password and you can mount the entire drive. Copy over your files.
