iPod touch Date changes on ipod touch every time I sync

Anyone had this problem? Every time I sync my 2G ipod touch with my pc (windows xp, itunes 8.0) it changes the date on my ipod. The date is correct on my pc... not sure what it causing it to change on the ipod.

It happens to me. I posted this late last week and apparently its a bug. Just have to wait for a fix.

Happens to me after putting my computer to sleep with iTunes open. Happens on Windows XP and Vista, on all PCs I've tried. Try restarting iTunes before you sync.... Also happened with pretty much every recent iTouch-compatible version of iTunes.. they just can't seem to fix it. Grrr.
