Date Format in File Get Info

I have recently upgraded to Yosemite (10.10.3) and very surprised to see file creation date in file get info is like "Sunday, 18, 2015 at 11:25 AM". I am thinking that how do I figure out which month was it. Any help will be appreciated.

What you may have done is customized the date formats in the "Language & Region" preference panel of System Preferences.

Open System Preferences, then "Language & Region", and click on the "Region" pop-up menu, and select an appropriate geographic region.
