hi
I was thinking of buying a new mbp 13'' or 15'' inches for the new school year, do you guys know when apple will update this 184days old mbp for the new one?
is it true that they'll get rid of these intel processors for better ones?
I certainly do not need it quickly, I can wait, as long as if it's like 2-3 month or something like that. instead if we're talking of february march of next year I think i shall get a used one instead and save someting
bye

Need now, buy now. Need in 3 months, buy in 3 months. Machines were just upgraded a few months ago, no one knows when the next upgrade comes. but USUALLY you see a small processer speed bump toward the end of the year and a refresh March - April timeframe. This is not a rule, just generally, only Apple knows what, when and how upgrades take place.

I don't need it now nor in three month, it's just something I'd like to have. in the buyers guide you can see that the actual mbo has 6 month, not " a few"maybe i could buy a used one now

It's your money, you don't need us telling you what you should do with it.

Going to be most likely Feb-March of 2012, if you can wait that long wait.

mmm i like March
16 is a cool number, but we can suppose anything between 12-26 [[but ill say 16].
well 2012 is when they will most likely update it..

March 16, 2012!!! :) :)

EDIT: this is a prediction using my innate abilities to float and meditate for several hours.. Please do not post this as an official date or anything unless of course apple listens to me and many rumors predict the date. I will be famous :p
lol

hi

I have one of the current models, it bothers the heck out of me that it is an ancient ( 184 day old ) design. :rolleyes:

I hope so, these new intel processors suck wind! :rolleyes:

<sarcasm=off>

In all honesty , if you need or want a new unit and have the money for it ..... BUY IT !!!
