Hi all,
unfortunately I had to send my new iPad 2 to assistance.
Tomorrow I get an ipad 2 replaced, most likely a refurbished.
Apple sent me the new serial number, is there a way to know the date of production?

Thank you!
:)

I don't think so. Why do you need to know the production date?

There is a myth that the light bleed issue is unique to certain production dates/serial numbers/etc. and OP is probably trying to figure this out. I don't think there's a reliable way to do it, but there is a running tally on the light bleed thread.

honestly my broken iPad was 4 days old so I'll very sad if they give me a very older one (sorry my english) :)
