I am considering buying something from their qBox line. They have by far the least expensive solution for doing what I want (backing up multiple terabytes). The USB one is fine for me since its just a backup.

But aside from AMUG reviews, I cant find any independent info about this company.
So has anyone ever used this companies products? In particular I am wondering if the cooling is really good enough to fill one of these boxes up with 4 1.5TB hard drives..
Anyone?

I would GOOGLE "DATOptic qBOX problem" to see is there a problem with the box...
Then I would look the electrical spec of 1.5TB and compare it to the 1.0TB or it cousin to see which consume more power... If there are within 1 Watt different then, i would consisder it safe to use...1.5TB.

Note: this is the thermal issue that I'm talking about... the reliability of 1.5TB of seagate is another issue.

Hope this help!
