Well, I finally grabbed my first MacBook. I am a long term mac owner have owned almost all iterations of the devices except the current MBR.

I am amazed at how much I love the size, and feel. I do wish the apple was a light like the rest, yet I don't even know why? lol Its just such a staple of a mac that it feels like its not totally part of the team. But, its such a pointless moot point.

The only thing I find annoying is the USB-C. I knew that going in, but needing an $80 adapter to connect a monitor and usb device is crappy.

Either way, so far I am very happy!

If you shop around you don't have to pay a highway robbery $80 for the adapter. I paid $40, which is no bargain, either, but better than $80. it was brand new, sealed box, on ebay. i really only wanted it for the hdmi for a new 27" monitor.

Thanks. I bought the usb only one for now to import files. Then ordering one on ebay for around 45 then return this after its delivered.
