After 4 days of use, this is really good. I can use it wherever I want: on my lap, laying on the bed, on the hammock... all that wasn’t possible in practice with the folio keyboard or the kickstand of the surface pro. I was worried about the trackpad, because I have the 11 inch version, but it’s almost perfect. And I was really skeptical about the merge of touch and trackpad interfaces, but they’ve made a good job, it’s unnoticeable. In fact, it has almost fully replaced my 13’ MBP, since it’s smaller, more versatile (I can remove it and do iPad stuff, like notes, read, etc.) and I even feel it more enjoyable. Now I only use the Mac for Xcode. I think many people miss the main point: It’s also a tablet. We all want it to be less heavy, but It’s not uncomfortable (at least for me) at all to carry, while using other solutions on my lap REALLY was. And a high risk, sometimes XD. I disagree with people saying that it’s a desk accessory; in fact, it gives you an iPad + laptop experience in the weight of a MacBook Air, and after this situation it will replace my Mac for non-professional travel. This is the first time I’ve used a real tablet behaving like a computer without comfort (interface or physical) compromises. Hope it helps.
