Day late and a dollar short, but when did we get drag/drop capability with music?

The whole "sync playlists" has always irked me with the iphone. But I just plugged it in and now I see we can drag and drop what we want instead of having to sync. When did this happen??? Admittedly, I dont check this forum as much as I used to when I got my iPhone, but Ive never seen this brought up. Im sure you all can set me straight by telling me to search

I dont sync my phone that often, mostly just charge from the ac adapter. But I was pleasantly surprised to find this feature FINALLY implemented.

It was the iTunes 7.6 update that opens up the feature, not the phone update.
