Tonight I realized that I have been ferrying around a half dozen devices in my car which can all run/charge from USB. Instead of using the 12v to charge one at a time, I was wondering if anyone knew of a DC powered USB hub that could take care of everything at once.

I have a power inverter that I use for AC stuff, and I could always plug a hub into that, but I have a geek problem of thinking of that DC->AC->DC is pretty wasteful, no?

Has anyone heard of/have something like this that will work? I did a quick internet search both for a standalone solution, and a 12v plug that would work at the requirements of the hub I have at home, and did not come up with anything.
