I don't know if this post will get bumped to another forum, but I got DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online) running under OS X via WINE. Some friends wanted me to play DDO with them since its 'free to play' now.
I did the BootCamp thing -which it ran very well, DX 10 graphics- but I missed not being able to do other stuff at the same time. So I booted back into OS X and installed DDO under WINE. I'm running the RCs of WINE via MacPorts.
The install went great but the DDO launcher bombed out. I found a replacement launcher for Linux and OS X which replaces the Windows one.
Now I can play DDO in a window (1280x800) and still switch to other things through Spaces. The FPS are very good and I'm running the graphics pretty high too.
If you are tired of WOW, finished DAO, and want to play a nice MMO that is now free under OS X, I would really try this out. LOTR is going free as well and since they are made by the same folks it should also run fine under OS X.
