Hey guys,

I just upgraded my 13" MBP ram from 4 to 8GB and i have a question. The ram i got is DDR3 1333Mhz and which is faster than the stock ram which ran at 1066Mhz, so when i installed the new ram and under windows 7 i ran CPU-Z to check the actual speed of the ram and it shows its running at 663Mhz, so i don't understand, is my MBP underclocking the ram?

Here is a pic i took of CPU-Z under Win 7.

So its running at the full 1333Mhz speed than. Sweet. The tech/sales guy where i purchased the ram said that the memory will down-clock to the correct speed.

So i'm running the same speed as the new 2011 MBP's. This is great.
