is there anything out there that will minimize or get rid or scratches in the pb lcd? my pb has a raised scratch thats dark.. hard to describe.. here's a picture.

The dot-ish scratch is caused by a flying mechanical pencil.

looks like screen damage not a scratch to me. I don't think there is anything you can do about it.

well, that sucks. :( I've lived with it for a month, I guess I'll have to ignore it for the rest of my life as well.

I forgot to ask, it's been okay for about a month, is there any chance of it spreading overtime?

thanks

i have a simular problem, and it happend after only owning my powerbook for two weeks! I was gutted to say the least. It happend when i walked from one room to the other with my isight attached, the dam things weight moved the screen and then fell onto the keyboard.

anyone know how much it costs to get the screen replaced?

I think a screen replacement on any Apple notebook is a $500+ repair. You probably should learn to live with it.

You didn't mention what size and model of your screen.
Here to give you an idea http://www.pbparts.com/shop/_al+_lcd
