I recently replaced my 20 inch apple cinema display, and now have it, I also have its original box.

Would it be worth the shipping costs to sell for parts on eBay? or am I better off just taking it to my local electronics recycling?

The problem with it was it would not turn on, the light on it would blink, I looked up online to use a bit of scotch tape to use in the power brick, it is a trick, it worked for a while, then it would not turn on again, so now I have it with its box, and am not sure what to do with it.

You can try ebay, but I don't think it will bring much, if anything.
Might be easier to just recycle it...
