Hello all,
I just came to my parents house (where I have my PowerBook g4) to found out the battery was at 0%.
When I plug the charger, the light turns orange but on MacOs it says not charging.
It has a AliExpress which has very few cycles and always lasted about 2h without problems.
Any trick to revive/charge it?
It charges an old original battery so I assume hardware wise it is all ok

Bumping in hopes you get a reply.

I too have a cheap knock-off PBG4 battery (for a 12-in.) that was working fine until I allowed it to get to 0%, after which it will not take a charge.

Well I just ended buying a "new original never used pbg4 12 battery" lets see how it goes. Otherwise I will have to rebuild older batteries.
It is a pitty this aliexpress battery died, for about 20eur it was a good performer.
Now I can only find for 15 pb g4 on aliexpress
