Hi folks,

On my 2009 Mac Pro, I'm using an SSD for the boot drive.
The last few weeks, it was giving me the folder with a question mark when trying to boot.

I had inserted the system install disc and re-told it which HD i wanted to be the startup disk (the SSD).

I went on vacation, came back and now the SSD doesn't show up when I try to choose the startup disk nor when I look in Disk Utilities.

My thought is that this HD is now pooched? Am I right? It's under warranty so I'll get a new or refurbished one, but honestly, I could care less about that right now as I have work (which I need to do now) on the other internal hard drives. 2 are RAID'd so I don't want to remove them (plus I'm sure the project I want is on them and not the other internal).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers,
Keebler
