My friend dropped her macbook on its side a few days ago and the next time she tried to turn it on, i dont know if it was right after she dropped it, she got the question mark folder on startup. So I went over and popped in the install disc she has and the disk utility cant find the hard drive. I continue the install process to the point of choosing a drive and nothing again. I'm thinking the hard drive is dead. Am I right? How much will this cost for repair from apple?

Dead hard drive?

It might be a good idea to make sure the hard drive is still properly connected - that fall may have disconnected something
