Dead iMac G5, Use as Display?

My iMac G5 (17", ALS model) died about a year and a half ago (logic board went on it...). It's been sitting around for a while, and I wondered if it could be used as an external display. Basically the same idea as Mac4Brains, just with a PowerPC iMac.

I tore it apart, following iFixit's Guide to check out everything inside.

If anyone has figured it out before or knows anything, let me know!

I would part it out, or sell it as it is on ebay. 17" lcd monitors are cheap on craigslist, if your patient. I just bought a 17"dell for $45. I would guess your dead imac is worth a little more.

Those G5 imacs do look good though.
