After installing Mac Mavericks, I see that Apple again has made a decision to wipe out software I had installed (like the Java runtime) I use every day for software development.

This time, Maven is also gone.

I'm not sure if my Maven repos or other configuration information have similarly been wiped out, but so much for productivity today...

--------

Can anyone suggest the best way to re-install Maven under Mavericks (that you have actually used?)?

Thanks,
