Last week i received an iPhone from my relatie who said it was recently given to repair the screen, he said it worked for one day and next day it was dead.

He gave it back to the repair shop and they said the motherboard negative is passing through positive or something like that, I guess what the technician meant is shorting.

So the iphone is disassembled now, am not a complete noob so is there anything i can do to salvage the motherboard.

Like to check for shorts, where and which places to check ?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks
