The short version is I fell into a river with my Iphone in my pocket and put it in a tupperware container with some Silica Gel Packets and it sucked the moisture out and worked fine...other than a few minor hiccups. I dropped it in water again and it is totally fried now.

I plan on upgrading and just selling this one on Ebay as a water damaged Iphone. Can I erase any of my info I had stored on the phone at this point or is that impossible without being able to fire up the iphone? Thanks for any help.

If you can get iTunes to recognise it then just restore it and set up as new. But seen as it is fried i doubt you will get iTunes to recognise it so there would be no way of wiping the data.
