My iPhone charger cable was giving me trouble. It wasn't making a connection. Bought a new one (Apple). It was working fine. Yesterday I went to work (fully charged battery) and my phone lost its charge in about an hour. Bought a new battery at Batteries Plus. Now my phone won't charge at all. I'm concerned my iPhone is the problem. Help please.

Sounds like you need to take it to the Apple store to get the problem diagnosed.

What iPhone are you using. It is possible the charging port is defective

Batteries Plus sells iPhone batteries?

Take it back and ask for a new one. Sounds like you got a lemon.

It's a 5s. I first went to Radio Shack. They don't do iPhone batteries or anything Apple anymore. I bought the phone there, but I don't think I'd have any luck asking for a new one. The Apple Store is several miles from me.

It's about a year and a half old. It doesn't matter about the warranty. I just need my phone back. Can't afford to buy another right now.

You best bet is to take it to Apple unless you have another "trusted" iPhone repair service in your area. If you have changed your battery and it took a charge but discharged very quickly, either the battery was defective or there is something wrong with your hardware. Only way to know is to take it to someone who can tell you.

Sorry I could not help.

Okay. Thank you very much. I appreciate your time.
