Hey guys i really need some help !!! I have a Ipod Touch 5g 16gb that is completely dead ! Someday he felt on the ground and the screen completely shattered but he was still working, passes by one week and he stopped working, doesnt turn on or charge and does not appear on the itunes when i plug on the pc.... Just dead. I wanna know what component (part) could be broken that causes this problem, could be the motherboard or the battery? Or something else? Im thinking on buying a new battery but i dont know if this is the problem maybe he could be just trash and i would spend money for nothing.... At this moment he is without a screen but he should charge anyway if i buy a new battery it isnt ?

PLZ i NEED ONE ANSWER, REALLY MISS LISTENING TO MY SONGS not shure if it is 8.1.2 or 8.1.1 and had JAILBREAK (also had some heating problems like turning off before his death)..
