iPod touch Dead ipod touch!

My ipod touch will not turn on. Any procedure I can follow to tell what's wrong?

Weird thing is that only 4 days before, my MacBook Air also died. So if I can't restart my ipod, all my data is lost

Does it turn on automatically when connecting it to a computer or an external charger?

If so, maybe the battery is just empty (or broken) or maybe it's a problem with the on-off-switch.

mine did this too... then it decided to turn on for no reason. Keep trying? or your battery could just be dead.

No, it will not turn on when connected to the charger or Mac.

How can i replace the battery?
