Hey, sorry if this isn't the right way to go about posting things but i'm new so here goes.... So, my sister had a 4g iPod Touch 8gb that, yes was jailbroken, and was working perfectly till it went flat and she didn't charge for a few weeks... When she tried to charge it overnight, it was totally dead. I've tried recovery mode( plugging usb into imac with itunes open and then holding the home button before plugging the usb into the ipod) and nothing. After that, I tried "DFU" mode (holding both button for 10s and then releasing the sleep button but continuing to hold the home button while connected to itunes) and still no response, nothing..... Any help would be really appreciated.... Thanks in advance....

When it's plugged into the power supply, does it power up at all?

You may just have a dead battery, however that would depend if it powers up or not.
