dead keyboard on my MB pro

I hope someone can help.

my mac book pro keyboard and trackpad do not work...

I hae been reduced to using the wireless mouse and keyboard everywhere I go.

In system preferences, there is not even an option to change the trackpad settings as the computer seems to think that i have not got a trackpad at all. Is there a solution or is it back to apple? I live 200 miles from an apple store hence my reticence to just tqke it in (still under warranty)

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone knows if MAC has anything similar to the PCs tab function when using the keyboard instead of the mouse to skipp around on screen..?
