Dead Macbook Mods?

Hey,

Ive had a dead Core Duo (2.0GHz?) White Macbook for a while, just sitting on the top of a cupboard for a while with a stuffed logic board. I dont want to sell it cos it will only fetch around 50 bucks and I dont want to chuck it...

I would like to turn it into something interesting, perhaps something that has already been done so I can mod it from a tutorial? Is there anything out there like this?

You could pop off the lid and make it into an Apple-tastical clock.

You could part it out and sell the individual parts on eBay or something. Generally a totally dead Mac can be made into a little more cash that way than just selling it outright.

Agreed. You can probably get $50 alone for the screen assembly.

i would either part out the pieces to make the most $$$ or just wire the screen and a battery to be an lcd monitor..


or you could hollow out the body to hide your cookies
