Hello. Last night I was using my MacBook Pro 13" late 2011 model when it died. I had it plugged into the wall but it just blinked and died after disconnecting my iPhkne 5s from the USB. Now I cannot get it to turn on. I have tried basic trouble shooting but ultimately when I attempt to boot it nothing turns on, no sound, no lights, nothing. When plugged in the MagSafe glows very dimly. It is difficult to see even in a dark room. I have tried to check the battery status but that light is dead too.
Is there an explanation for this? Is it fixable or is there no hope?

Sounds like something related to the internal power supply has failed.

Are you anywhere near a brick-n-mortar Apple Store?

If so, perhaps the best course of action might be to request the "flat-rate repair" (if they still have something like that available).

Will cost you about $300 or so, but that ought to cover it.

My info could be wrong, if it is, will others please jump in and correct me?
