After loading 10.5.2...my macbook got stuck on the reboot screen. It just stayed on the grey apple screen with the gear spinning...and spinning...and spinning. Luckily,. the apple store is only 15 min from my house. I made myself an appointment and zipped on over after work yesterday. The did an archive/reinstall of leopard. I took it home, played some WoW...then ran update again. When I woke up I hit reboot as the updates had completed downloading. By the time I was out of the shower and dressed it was done. I fiddled around..surfed, check my ebay...and shut it down. This afternoon at work, I pulled it out to play while on my lunch break...and there is nothing. When I hit the power button, I hear the disk noise it ususally makes upon turning on, but the screen is just black. There is no happy "dong" , no apple screen...nothing. I have tried resetting the PRAM, I tried the remove battery/power button thing...I tried restarting in safe boot, and disk choose boot...tried everything apple suggested via phone support...and now I have an appt to bring it in tomorrow so they can send it in for repair. *cry*. I am a full time graduate student who is suddenly without a computer (thank God for time machine!) ... and am not sure how long this will take. Any genius suggestions would be awesome.
