Dead MB Pro won't turn on

A macbook pro 15 inch 2010 died and I plugged it in to the charger, and the charger's light has been green and stayed green since i plugged it in. It's been plugged in for approximately 15 minutes now and will not turn back on. Any thoughts or suggestions?
