one of our G5's appears to have an issue with its NIC. It suddenly lost connection to our network today. System Preferences reports the cable is unplugged. Nothing was done to this machine recently nor were any of its cable connections disturbed in any way (as far as I know). My network switch is not showing any link and i've tried other patch cables. I connected another computer with the same cable so I'm reasonably sure it's this Mac's NIC. Are there any ways to test definitively for a dead NIC, any diagnostics, etc? Thanks.
