My white iPhone 3G S has worked extremely well since launch day until just now.

I pushe the Home button, as always, and nothing. I held the Start button on the top, nothing. Hooked it up to my computer via USB, no connection. Any ideas what happened? Anyone else have this happen? What next?

Hard reset, hold down the Home Button and the Sleep/Wake Button for 10 or 6 seconds, i cant remember which one it is, the apple logo should hopefully appear, hopefully that will work.

Had something similar happen on my 2G a few times. Went dead while battery had plenty life. Couldn't turn off, itunes didn't recognize, etc..

Plugged in to power outlet and let it sit for a while. Maybe 10 mins. Then tried to turn it on while it was still plugged into outlet. Worked.

God bless you guys! Seriously.

I was mentally preparing myself for a trip to the genius bar tomorrow.
