Dead Pixel iPhone 3G

I have a black iPhone 3G, which i bought back in July.

I've had a few dead pixels since about November, but now there getting annoying...

If i take my iPhone to my local Apple stores (Manchester Traford Center Or Liverpool One) will they replace it ?

I have heard of a few people who received new iPhones over this....
