Hello guys,
Today I was updating macOS to latest version and unfortunately I noted a dead pixel. When update finished I did some tests and I noted that the dead pixel is only visible in black color and when screen brightness is set to maximum. It’s like a tiny dot less black than the rest but not 100% white. It’s the opposite of typical dead pixel that are more visible in white colors as a black dot.
If I change the color to red, yellow, green, white or any other color than black the pixel looks ok even with brightness set to maximum.
Is it possible that a pixel is malfunctioning only in black color?
It’s a MBP 2018 15”.
