Well, just flicking through some of my latest photos on my new 23" cinema display and love the clarity of them!

I was shocked when i noticed what appeared to be a dead pixel on the screen though as I flicked through the pictures! :(

Strangely when i moved the mouse over the "dead pixel" it vanished!?
made me start to think that it might only be a dead red or blue pixel or whatever but that was the cause. I quickly realised that this was impossible and thought it might be a dead pixel on my camera! :)
I rotated the image and sure enough the white spot followed round.

I hadnt noticed this before on my photos and I had used a good formac gallery monitor but was very impressed that I could see this flaw on a 23" ACD.

Anyway my camera is ony a fuji F31D so I wasnt all that bothered although now I am getting to the end of my post I also realised it may be a spec of dust on the ccd :) so i might try tapping the camera.

Original question was, has anyone found dead pixels (not dust) on their cameras?
