I have an old PowerBook G3 that I know worked through 2010 because I set it up for my nephew. I found it a couple of years ago and was hoping it would still boot, but it doesn't. No power situation. I think the yo-yo power adapter works, but the batteries don't seem to charge.
Would a dead PRAM battery prevent the PowerBook from booting and/or charging the main battery? I would be willing to replace that battery.
Thoughts?
