I get the startup bong - and nothing else.

I just bought it at DeAnza swapmeet today. Is there a Hardware Troubleshooting guide?

I bought a very similar G4 iMac lamp at a swap meet four months ago. After a bit of diagnosis it needed a hard drive, which a friend of mine dropped in for $25. It's a nice computer in the kitchen now.

If you live near DeAnza there should be plenty of folks around who can diagnose. My friend lives up in Marin.
