dead strip causing hilarious results

This is awesome (not really.) So.. I have a dead strip on my iPhone (apple will replace it for 200 dollars!) and on the new update when it tells you how to edit the home screen the dismiss button is.. on the dead strip, and I CANNOT access anything else on my phone. Guess I have no choice but to cough up the money now. Thanks Apple.
